HOW TO USE THE ONLINE
PROOFING SYSTEM Your proofs will be available online for 60 days. They will be posted after I have received payment for our sitting or other initial services. The best way to initially view your portraits is with the “Slideshow” tool. I suggest going through all of them once and then going back through and being more selective. You can tag pictures as Favorites to help narrow down your choices. If you wish to share the link with friends and family, please be aware that it is password protected. You will need to pass along the password as well. Note, too, that it is possible to link your proofs to many social networking sites. Online proofs will be available for viewing for 60 days from the date of our sitting. If you need any additional time to view your proofs, you must contact me before the online session expires. I will extend your viewing time for 2 additional weeks if you contact me. If the session expires and you need the proofs reloaded a second time, there will be a $25 charge to place them back online for an additional 30 days. I will reload the proofs after payment is received. If any final retouching is needed, e.g., remove a bruise or scratch, please let me know and I’ll retouch the portrait before fulfilling your order. The nice thing about the online proofing system is that it does accept credit cards, and I am not currently able to do so. If you are not comfortable ordering through the online proofing system, please let me know. You may certainly place your order directly through me. If you would like to order Proofs, you may do so. They are 4 x 6 inches. No retouching is available on proofs. Proofs are $3 each. Be certain to choose "4 x 0" as the print size or you will be charged $6 for a 4 x 6 print. With an order of $250 or more, a DVD of the entire portrait session is free. Otherwise, you may purchase a DVD of the entire portrait session for $75. If you choose to place your order through me and not through the online proofing system, I need from you the number in the lower left corner of the picture when viewing it online. Yours will begin with your name, e.g., “Crain00X”. I just need the number, not anything else. When you’ve compiled your order, you can e-mail me. Don’t forget about the possibility of ordering museum-quality and handcoloured portraits as well. Information about these types of portraits can be found at this link. Museum-quality and handcoloured portraits can be ordered through the online system as well. If you are ordering the Baby Parts collage, that must be ordered directly through me, however, and not online. You may choose to have your final print order shipped directly to you or pick up your order from me at my home. The price for shipping varies according to the print sizes you have ordered.
