Gallery Sitting Fee Locations Proofs The Finished Product - Prices Events Sports - Basketball Weddings We create fine art portraits together, deciding whether color, black and white, sepia-toned, or handcoloured photographs are right for you and your family. We set up a time and a location, either at your home or another setting of our choosing, to photograph your family. Click here for a list of locations most often utilized in Birmingham. Any combination of family members can be included in your portrait sitting: newborns in the comfort of your home, outdoor family portraits at a local botanical garden, or large families during family reunions and gatherings. Sittings are priced individually depending upon where and how long we expect the sitting to last. We now offer the "baby parts" collage for your newborn's portrait. Click here for an example.

or In many cases, time is of the
essence, so please call if possible. Sitting Fee - NEW! Mini-Sessions! A sitting fee of $75 is required. Additional compensation for travel more than 20 miles is expected. Mini-sessions are available for $40 for half an hour. An hour-long sitting remains at $75. In the mini-session, you can expect to have 60 to 75 images to view, whereas in an hour-long session, you can expect to view 100 to 125 images. Editing is not my forte....and more images means more to choose from! You may expect to view your online proofs within 48 hours of your sitting. I will call and/or e-mail you when your proofs are available online. I will e-mail you an Event Code and a Password to ensure your privacy. You may share these with friends and family who might wish to view them online and purchase portraits as well. You may choose to pick up your order from me, or you may choose to have your order shipped directly to you. Current shipping costs are $10 for UPS Ground, and $30 for UPS 2-Day. Online proofing is available through Instaproofs.com. With online proofing, no Proof Album is available for purchase, however, if printed proofs are desired, you may order proofs individually for $3 each. Be certain to select "4 x 0" when ordering online, as opposed to the "4 x 6". The difference between a Proof and a 4 x 6 is that Proofs are unretouched, meaning you receive the print looking exactly as it does online. When you order a "4 x 6 desk portrait", it is retouched and digitally enhanced for optimal color, as other sized portraits are. Online proofs will be available for viewing for 60 days from the date of our sitting. If you need the proofs available a second time, there will be a $50 charge to place them back online for an additional 30 days. Handcoloured and museum-quality portraits are printed on museum-weight paper, and come to you ready to frame. Portraits printed on watercolour paper are also ready to frame. Color, sepia, and black and white portraits are printed by a professional laboratory on archival digital paper and are ready to frame. Portraits are dry mounted when necessary to protect your prints. Click here for prices of Finished Products. Outdoors or Indoors? All of my portraits are done on location, either indoors or outdoors. Typical outdoor locations are the Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Mountain Brook, or Aldridge Botanical Gardens in Hoover. Other locations are available, such as Sloss Furnace or Morris Avenue in Downtown Birmingham. If you have a newborn or children under a year old, it may be more convenient to photograph them in the comfort of your home. The weather largely determines when we able to hold our outdoor sitting. Anytime the weather forces us to reschedule, your sitting will take priority in rescheduling.
